Hamptons Floor Store founded in 2014 by Joe Prendergast, integrated a fantastic online service within their business model from early on.

With two showrooms in Dublin and Kildare, Joe started promoting his business on Facebook in 2015 through organic and paid advertising, swiftly generating most of his sales. Since then he’s been steadily moving his business online. From photos of his team in action and finished flooring jobs to information on free consultations and quotes, their Facebook page is a fantastic information hub for customers. Every week, store managers answer customer questions through Facebook Live and quickly respond to queries on Messenger.

With the majority of sales coming from Facebook and Instagram, the business was protected when Covid-19 hit Ireland and pushed the sales process further online. From Hamptons Floor Store Facebook page, customers can now book an appointment for a free consultation, browse samples, prices, get a quote and pay. They can also shop using “The smart buyer” app connected to their Facebook shop.
